# TeamoRouter > TeamoRouter is an LLM API gateway operated by Teamo HK Limited. One API key calls Claude, the GPT-6 family, Gemini, DeepSeek, GLM, Grok and other models. Usage is charged per token from a prepaid USD balance, with no subscription. Claude runs on the native Anthropic protocol, so Claude Code connects with two environment variables; GPT models run on OpenAI-compatible endpoints, so Codex and the OpenAI SDKs connect by changing the base URL. TeamoRouter routes each request to official provider APIs or authorized distribution channels and bills it against your balance. Billing details list every request with its model, token usage, applied discount and final charge. It is built for coding agents and long agentic sessions: Claude Code, Codex, Claude Desktop, Gemini CLI, CC Switch, OpenClaw, Cursor, Cline and other OpenAI-compatible clients. API basics: - Claude (Anthropic native format): base URL `https://api.teamorouter.com` with no `/v1`, endpoint `POST /v1/messages`, headers `x-api-key: sk-teamo-...` and `anthropic-version: 2023-06-01`. Use this format for Claude; calling Claude through the OpenAI format can lose prompt caching and thinking. - OpenAI-compatible format: base URL `https://api.teamorouter.com/v1`, endpoints `POST /v1/chat/completions` and `POST /v1/responses` (the Responses API is for GPT models only), header `Authorization: Bearer sk-teamo-...`. - Gemini native format: base URL `https://api.teamorouter.com`, endpoint `POST /v1beta/models/{model}:generateContent`. - Images: `POST /v1/images/generations` and `POST /v1/images/edits`, compatible with the OpenAI Images API. - Model list: `GET https://api.teamorouter.com/v1/models` with your API key (the endpoint requires authentication). Model IDs change as models are added, so check this list instead of assuming an ID. - API keys start with `sk-teamo-` and are created in the TeamoRouter dashboard. Claude Code: set `ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://api.teamorouter.com` and `ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN=`; optionally choose a model with `ANTHROPIC_MODEL`. Codex CLI: in `~/.codex/config.toml`, add a `[model_providers.teamorouter]` provider with `base_url = "https://api.teamorouter.com/v1"`, `env_key = "OPENAI_API_KEY"` and `wire_api = "responses"`, select it with `model_provider = "teamorouter"`, then put your TeamoRouter API key in `OPENAI_API_KEY`. Billing and payment: - Prepaid balance in USD, charged per token on each request. No subscription. The minimum top-up is $5. Purchased credits do not expire (Terms of Service). - Prices are published in the live pricing table on the homepage. Discounts vary by model and move with upstream costs, so refer to the live table rather than a fixed number. - Cards: Stripe checkout. - USDT on teamorouter.com: "Pay with crypto" in the top-up dialog opens a hosted checkout where you pay USDT, USDC or ETH from any exchange app (Binance, OKX and others); no browser wallet is needed. The checkout lists the networks your amount supports (BEP20 from $5). Crypto payments are not refundable. - Chinese-language interface: Alipay, with Stripe under "more payment methods". - Russian-language interface: SBP (СБП), SberPay, T-Bank and YooMoney through Payssion. - Indonesian-language interface: QRIS, OVO, Dana, Doku, ATM, Akulaku and Alfamart through Payssion. - Fast mode (`"service_tier": "fast"`) on supported GPT models is billed at 2x the standard rate. - Model IDs ending in `-free` are complimentary models with a daily request allowance; see Rate limits.
